The majority of sales comes from iOS users, who have spent a combined $83.3 million in the game, or 54 percent of the total gross. Google Play users have paid out $70.2 million, or 46 percent.
Players in the United States count for almost half of all sales, spending $75.9 million in the game, or 49 percent. Germany ranked second for gross revenue, generating $13.4 million, or 8.7 percent, while Great Britain accounted for $12.3 million, or 8 percent.
Since its release in April 2018, the game has proven to be the highest gross revenue generator by in-app spending for developer Jam City. In that time, Cookie Jam was the publisher’s second highest grossing game, generating nearly $108 million, while Panda Pop brought in an estimated $66 million. Bingo Pop and Disney Emoji Blitz, which have generated $43.6 million and $40.7 million since April 2018, were added to Jam City’s portfolio in the latter half of last year.
Total worldwide downloads for Harry Potter: Hogwarts across both the App Store and Google Play have passed an estimated 54.6 million since launch.Android took the biggest share of downloads, responsible for 29.3 million downloads, or 53.7 percent. The App Store meanwhile generated 25.3 million unique installs, or 46.3 percent.
The game generated most of its downloads in the U.S., where it picked up 11.75 million downloads, or 21.5 percent. Brazil followed with the second most downloads, accounting for 3.65 million, or 6.7 percent, with France taking the third most with 3.4 million unique installs, or 6.2 percent.
All-time revenue per download for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery currently stands at an estimated $2.80.
